(CHLOE, WV) – Kevin “KC” Christian of Chloe announced today that he will be running for the State Governor of West Virginia.
“I am proud to announce my candidacy for the republican nomination for State Governor,” said Christian. “It’s about time a regular person, who lives like most everybody in West Virginia lives, occupy the top executive leadership position. We keep electing lawyers, politicians, car salesmen, lobbyists, so-called business professionals, and political family dynasties, and not one of them has brought enough vision and leadership to turn this State around. Not even an inch. Instead, they tend to get richer, while we all get poorer and must work two or three jobs just to simultaneously feed our kids and keep them warm. It is time for change. It is time to elect a visionary, a disrupter. Someone with the integrity and guts to dismantle the corrupt alliance between big business and our representative government. I decided to run, because this year, when I looked for a candidate to support, I did not see a single maverick. I saw a group of generic candidates, mimicking each other, regurgitating party nonsense. You can just see them all standing in line, hands out, begging for their chance at power. Well, I don’t beg. I don’t kneel, and I sure don’t sell out my neighbors for personal wealth. I am not a politician, and if elected, I aim to eliminate politics from government like the cancer it has become. I am the only candidate with an actual plan to fully restore the citizens power within their own government.”
Christian is a native West Virginian, born and raised. He has served honorably as an Infantryman in the 82ndAirborne division, worked as an underground black hat coal miner, and has degrees in engineering and graduate business training. He has successfully directed business units for some of the globe’s largest corporations, and has built businesses from the ground up, here in West Virginia, and understands the challenges a regular person faces within the West Virginia economy. He understands how most of the time, the government is a hinderance to business success.
“West Virginia has experienced a slow and painful economic collapse for the last 70 years, and during that collapse, we have elected countless people, some were even good, talented, and well-meaning, to turn our economy around. Yet year after year, it only gets worse. I don’t think it’s the people at fault. I firmly believe that our system of representative government has been corrupted by big business interests, which ties the hands of any well-meaning person trying to make some positive change for the citizens of this great State. It is time to flip the tables, to run the money changers out of our sacred places. My agenda is very simple, I want to build a new, local, and organic free-market economy right here in West Virginia. We are going to make West Virginia a place where our kids can stay, thrive, and raise their families, like we were raised, the West Virginia way. To find out how, head over to KC4WV.org and check out my plans. They are bold, but I think bold is what it is going to take. You can play it safe and vote for the same old candidates, but don’t be crying on the Facebook when they just do the same old things and West Virginia keeps going downhill. Dare to be a Daniel, dare to be a Mountaineer. Dare to dream, with me, KC, the people’s champion for Governor in 2024.”
