Carlos C.J. Cottrill, 38, of Shock, WV, died on June 11, 2024, doing the job he loved, cutting timber.
He was born in Calhoun County, WV, on October 28, 1985.
Sadly, C.J. left two children whom he cherished and loved more than life itself, Ellaina and Damon Cottrill.
C.J. also leaves behind his loving parents Becky and Herb Dickey of Shock, WV; sister Shannon Harris (Mac) and nephew Zander of Brave, PA; brother Bub (Porky) Dickey (Angela) and nephew Dalton of Rosedale; sister Mary Wellings (Jason) and nephews Aiden, Bryson, Cameron, and Dawsen of Glenville, WV; grandparents Bill and Sandy Owen’s of Coolville, Ohio; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
The family would like to thank, from the bottom of their hearts, Aunt Blondie and Uncle Eddie Cottrill, Donald and Danielle Cottrill, and Brenda Cook for their continued love and support for C.J.
A graveside service will be conducted by Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Arnoldsburg, WV, on Monday, June 17, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at Rosedale Community Cemetery, with Vernon Kerns officiating.
