Calhoun Middle High School hosted their 2025 Fall Sports “Meet the Team” on Friday, August 22nd at the CMHS field. Fans gathered to cheer on their favorite players and performers and kick off the season with cheers and applause.
The opening act was the Calhoun Middle High school band performing their fall show, followed by introductions of all school performers/athletes by the 2025 voice of Calhoun, Clayton Barnhart.

Ridgeview News would like to encourage the community to make this season one of the best by attending as many events as possible. Each year the fan base has lessened and our kids deserve better. It’s so easy to get wrapped up in the nostalgia of yester-years, but as a member of the Calhoun Class of 1980… yes I’m that old… the stadium was filled to the brim with parents and fans. The sidelines were lined with former players cheering the home team on. Our community needs to see that again and our youth need to know that they’re the best thing going in Calhoun County.
