SEVEN-MONTH-LONG PRO WRESTLING TOURNAMENT CHAMPION TO BE CROWNED SEPTEMBER 6TH

SPENCER, WV – Route 33 Wrestling (Rt33W), the woman-owned professional wrestling promotion located in Spencer, will return to action on September 6th at the Armory on Main street for a live event featuring a long-anticipated tournament final, which will see the inaugural Wild and Wonderful West Virginia Champion crowned.

This tournament final puts Handsome Nick Hamrick against The Unwilting Tatiana in a once-in-a-lifetime intergender bout for the new championship, which has been graciously sponsored by The City of Spencer.

“Both Hamrick and Tatiana have more than earned their respective places in this final,” said Jessi McCumbers, Rt33W booker and promoter. “Both are top-notch competitors, but they are also different in almost every way. I’m eager to see how their differences show up in this match.”

The September 6th event will also showcase “The Babushka Baron” Jeffrey John as he defends his Rt33W Open Weight Championship against Pittsburgh’s “Iron” Mike Bonner. Rt33W Tag Team Champions, Grappling, Inc., will also be in action, with their opponents to be revealed soon. Further matches are expected to be announced on Route 33 Wrestling’s Facebook page in the coming weeks.

A limited supply of discount tickets is available in advance at Smoker Friendly on Ripley Road and on Facebook. Regular tickets will be available at the door beginning at 6 p.m. on the day of the event, and kids five and under enter free.
