West Virginia State Museum Now Reopen

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The West Virginia State Museum is now re-open following a temporary closure for essential repairs. Visitors are once again invited to walk the museum’s immersive Discovery Path, which takes guests on a chronological journey through West Virginia’s rich history. 

The West Virginia State Museum is located at the Culture Center on the State Capitol Complex at 1900 Kanawha Blvd E Bldg 9, Charleston, WV 25305. Operating hours are Monday through Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Admission to the museum is free and open to the public.

The Culture Center offers guided tours, field trips and educational resources to further enhance your visit to the State Capitol Complex.
