  1. I am sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Not just during these times. They are with you all of the time. Stay strong.

  2. Just read Jason’s message about Bill Johnson – Billy Joe to us “old folks”. Billy Joe and I grew up together in Grantsville. One of his last trips back home a couple of people asked him if he had seen “Anita Rae”. He asked – “Where is she”? They told him she is in San Antonio. One day I answered the door and there he stood!! We had not seen each other for roughly 73 years and here we lived only 30 miles away from each other for many, many of those years. I am just so grateful that we were able to reconnect after all of this time. We were able to spend some time together and talked or texted each other almost every day. He was such a great guy!! We had planned to make a trip back home together and visit our friends that are still there, but sadly that did not get to happen. The last two weekends, I have lost two good friends from early years – Billy Joe and Dick Jarvis. Thank you for allowing me to reminisce. My condolences to both their families. They will both be sorely missed.

    1. Anita, I am Billy Joe’s daughter in law and he couldn’t wait to tell me about connecting with you again. He spoke of you very fondly and very often when he’d call. Thank you for sharing – Shari Johnson
