Calhoun County Middle High School Cross Country Competes at Ritchie County Invitational

The Calhoun County Middle High School Cross Country Team traveled to the Ritchie County Invitational and turned in several strong performances against a competitive field.

Leading the way for the Red Devils was Brooke Tingler, who earned a 5th-place finish in the high school girls race with a time of 23:51.0. Gabi Smith also competed well, placing 22nd in 29:12.4.

In the high school boys race, Braidin Ferrell paced Calhoun County with a 20th-place finish in 20:35.0, followed closely by Eli Ferrell, who placed 23rd with a time of 21:11.9. Zac Smith rounded out the Red Devil boys’ effort, finishing 29th in 22:09.7.

In middle school competition, Silas Cunningham represented Calhoun County with a strong run, earning 19th place in 12:46.8.

Congratulations to all of our runners for their hard work and dedication. The team continues to build momentum as they move deeper into the season.
