Clean Up has Begun at the Arnoldsburg House Fire Location

A home reportedly owned by Mark Loomis, which burned January 5, 2022, was a total loss and continued to be a danger to the Arnoldsburg area when high winds would pick up the debris from the destroyed home and launch it throughout the community. The roofing tin and other items blew into the road and the neighborhood, just barely missing a vehicle in the driveway of Gail Butler and damaging her home and out building.

Clean up on the remains of the house began on Wednesday when a local construction crew began the demolition. This home was one of several in Calhoun County that need to be demolished and removed to improve the view. Much gratitude goes to the crew hard at work!
