Crystal Mersh filing in the Calhoun County Clerk’s office with Brenda Ball

Crystal Mersh, of Arnoldsburg, West Virginia, Lee District, filed for the open Board Member position within the Calhoun County Board of Education. Mitchell Morgan currently fills a position that he was appointed to by the School Board when Kevin Cunningham resigned mid-term. He must therefore run on the fall ballot to hold the position.

Crystal filed at 11 a.m, paying her $25.00 filing fee. When asked why she decided to file, she replied ”I believe in the children of Calhoun county and am certain that I can serve them well. The educational system is key to preparing them for the best possible futures. I believe My breadth of experience and heart for Calhoun makes me a good candidate for BoE.”
