Diana Marcielle Stanley, lovingly known as Diane, passed away November 1, 2026, in Glenville, West Virginia, at the age of 82.
She was a strong, loving woman who worked as a care aide and dedicated much of her life to caring for others.
She was the daughter of Leora Clevenger Goff and Jennings Goff.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Stanley Eden, who she always carried in her heart, and her siblings, Marlin Goff, Arlin Goff, and General “Curtis” Goff.
She leaves behind her brother, Denis Goff; her nephews, Shannon Goff and Marlin Jr. Goff; her grandchildren, Autumn Trogdon, Sylvia Eden, and Derek Goff; and her great-grandchildren, Jordan, Lincoln, Luna, Rose, Brody, Aubree, and Owen.
May the hills of West Virginia always hold her memory, and may the love she shared remain woven into the hearts of her family for generations to come.
A funeral service will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc., 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV 26351 at 2:00 PM; with Pastor Randy Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the New Mount Olive Cemetery near Burnt House, WV. Family and friends will be received from 12:00 noon – 2:00 PM; Saturday at the mortuary in Glenville.
