Storms moved through the area this evening following the high temperatures today, offering some relief from the heat, but unfortunately electric outages and damaging winds have made for a miserable night for some.
Melissa West took this photo of a home on Bear Run Road off Nicut where several downed trees landed on homes. The home above belonged to a family in Florida who were not in the home when this occurred.
