GLENVILLE, W.Va. – The Glenville State Pioneer Track & Field teams split their travel this weekend and competed at the Concord Open and the Bison Outdoor Classic, setting nine personal bests and notching a new school record between the two meets.
NEW SCHOOL RECORD
Natalie Barr competed in the invitational 5000m run and broke the school record with a time of 16:57
NEW PERSONAL BESTS
Landon Griffith raced in the 1500m run and ran a time of 4:15, setting a new personal best
Spencer Waggoner set a new personal best in the pole vault with a mark of 3.00m
Bethany Payne set a season best in the high jump with a mark of 1.50m
Luke Barr set a personal best in the 5000m run with a time of 16:08
Katie Hicks is now second all-time in the 5000m run with a time of 17:55
Casey Mahoney set a personal best in the shot put with a mark of 15.60m
Carson Smith raced a time of 22.09 in the 200m dash to set a new personal best
Rory Taylor-Young is now third all-time in the 400m dash with a time of 48.63

The Pioneers will compete close by at the Jasmin-Memorial Classic in Buchannon, W.Va. to finish out their regular season on Saturday (Apr. 18).
