Hager Arrested on Driving Suspended Charge

According to a complaint filed by Trooper Brian E. Young of the West Virginia State Police, on April 27, 2023, Dustin C. Hager was stopped and cited for Driving on Suspended Operators and an Expired Motor Vehicle Inspection Sticker on February 23, 2023.

In an assist with then Sheriff Warren Basnett, Dustin Hager, driving a Ford Cargo van, traveling south of Grantsville on Route 16 was stopped by Sheriff Basnett. When ask to produce his license, registration and insurance information, it was discovered that that his license had been surrendered for unpaid citations on May 18th, 2022.

A uniform citation was issued at the time of the incident, but it was not until this time that he was arrested on the charges.

Hager is currently in the WV Regional Jail having been placed there on September 12th to await trial for the misdemeanor charges. He is currently on a $500.00 bond.

Although innocent until proven guilty, penalties for which he is facing is being fined not less than $100 nor more than $500 for Driving Suspended.
