This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southeast Ohio,
and portions of central, northern, and western West Virginia.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Heat Advisory.
A Slight Risk for severe thunderstorms exists this afternoon and
night. Damaging winds and large hail will be the main hazards, but a
couple of tornadoes can not be ruled out. Localized flooding issues
will also be possible in areas of heavy rain or for locations that
receive multiple storms.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

Weather spotters are encouraged to report significant weather
conditions by calling the toll-free spotter hotline, or by other

Storms moved through the area this evening following the high temperatures today, offering some relief from the heat, but unfortunately electric outages and damaging winds have made for a miserable night for some. Kelli Barr, Director of the E911 informed Ridgeview News at 8:15 a.m. that the West Fork is currently flooded and Rt. 16 south is closed. There is water running across the roadway near 1585 S. Calhoun Hwy and the water is continuing to rise in Arnoldsburg. Further updates will come when available.
