John M. Kovach, 63, of Spencer, passed away on May 10, 2026, in Kanawha City, WV.
He was born on November 8, 1962, in Middletown, CT and was the son of the late John Kovach. John worked as an electrician. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his beloved pet, Duke.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his mother, Irene Claire Clark Kovach; his wife, Judy Taylor; one daughter; one son; three step-children, Elbert Myers, Ronnie Taylor, and Rose Smith, all of Spencer, WV; one sister, Karen Kovach of Spencer, WV; and one brother, David Allen Kovach of Spencer.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son; and a brother, Robert Kovach.
Per John’s wishes, he was cremated. The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date. Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home is proud to assist the Kovach family.
