Judith Marie Wise, 65, of Spencer, WV, passed away May 11,2026. She was born May 18, 1960, Spencer, WV.
She was a homemaker for many years and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She loved people and painting pictures as well.
Left behind to cherish her memory is her mother Betty Cottrell of Elizabeth, WV; two daughters Angela Meade of Akron, OH; Theresa Nichols (Aaron) of Elizabeth, WV; three sons David Starcher of Spencer, WV; Harold Billingsley (Brenda) of Calhoun, WV; Keith Starcher (Jamie) of Parkersburg, WV; one sister April Cottrell of Elizabeth, WV; one Brother Jerry Cottrell (Kathy) of Elizabeth, WV; brother-in-law Ivan Wise. She was also survived by twenty grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; many cousins, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Sherman Wise, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William & Keith Cottrell, sister-in-law Tina Cottrell, granddaughter Kaylee Starcher, father Lewis Cottrell, and son-in-law Jimmie (Rocky) Fletcher.
Funeral Service will be Monday, May 18, 2026, at 1:00pm with public visitation from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home. Graveside to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
