Cathy Jean Nichols, went home to with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on May 11, 2026. She was born on April 14, 1955 to Harold “Pete” White and Marie Parsons White.
Cathy graduated from Walton High School in 1973. Cathy’s joy was spending time with her family and playing her guitar and signing for the Lord. She loved going to different churches to sing praises unto Him. Her voice was known and loved by many. Cathy was a long-time member of the Mt Herman Church at Harmony, WV.
She is survived by three children, one daughter Dixie Nichols and two sons, Adam Nichols and Andy Nichols, all of Gandeeville, WV. Ten grandchildren and four great granddaughters. Also surviving are her two sisters, Carolyn Starcher of Spencer, WV and Inez Myers of Leroy, WV.
She was preceded in death by her parents Harold “Pete” White and Marie Parsons White, her husband, Gary L. Nichols, and great granddaughter, Oaklynn Nichols.
Services will be held at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 11:00 am and public visitation from 9:00am to 11:00am.
