Deputy H.M Stephens arrested Thomas Roberts on March 25th, 2026 charging misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance.
Deputy Stephens arrived at 2828 North Calhoun Highway with Probation Officer Lalicia L.awson, Sheri Knight, and WVSP Corporal Young to execute a probation check on Thomas Roberts. While conducting a home search pursuant to Mr. Roberts’ probation terms and conditions, officers recovered multiple plastic bags, labeled containers, and smoking devices containing THC products and green substances consistent with
the appearance and smell of marijuana.
Mr. Roberts did not produce a medical cannabis card and admitted to Officer Lawson that the marijuana belonged to him. In addition, a glass smoking device containing a clear
crystalline substance and a silicone container containing a crystalline residue was also recovered. The residue field
tested positive for methamphetamine.
Roberts has also been charged with Probation violation and has been released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond. No hearing date has been recorded.
