ANNOUNCEMENT:
The Boss Lady recognized Kayla Browning for all her help over the past four years selling tickets and distributing flyers for Route 33 Wrestling.
She also noted that Bomani was not present, and warned Gorgeous Morgan Taylor he must find a tag team partner by intermission, or he would be forced to forfeit the Rt33W Tag Team Championship.
1) “The Prizefighter” Ken Jenkins defeated John D Crazy Hillbilly at 6:22 following a sneaky low blow and hard-hitting lariat.
2) WWWV Championship Match – The Unwilting Tatiana (c) successfully defended her title at 6:10 against Rt33W newcomer, The Neon Enigma, after nailing her opponent with a flawless sidewalk slam.
3) “The Lunatic” Caleb Throne defeated “The Dreamkiller” Jeff Gallagher at 10:23 following a devastating running knee to the face. His victory was short-lived, however, as Ken Jenkins returned to the ring to attack Throne post-match alongside Gallagher. The beat-down was interrupted by Brox Boulder and Titan Troy, who came to “The Lunatic’s” aid and chased off his attackers.
4) Rt33W Tag Team Championship Match – Grappling, Inc. (Brox Boulder & Titan Troy) faced “The Notorious GMT” Gorgeous Morgan Taylor (c) and his replacement tag team partner, “Dirty” Travis Durton, in a bid to regain their tag team titles. After an obvious lack of chemistry between their opponents, Grappling, Inc. secured the tag team championship once again following a destructive Last Ride by Boulder and the team’s signature Lawn Dart maneuver at 10:44.
5) MAIN EVENT – Rt33W Open Weight Championship Match – The Mountain King faced off against “The Babushka Baron” Jeffrey John (c). What started with a handshake and a respectful bout ended in upset, as “The Juggernaut” Michael Anthony cashed in his Mountain Pass Medal.
Anthony and The Mountain King exchanged blows, but Spencer’s hometown hero was quickly subdued with a massive pile driver, which sent him rolling out to the floor.
John re-entered the ring and attacked “The Leviathan,” but was overpowered, as Anthony nailed him with his signature World Breaker Slam and an pin attempt. “The Babushka Baron” kicked out.
This enraged Anthony, who went on to hit three more slams on the champion, before referee Smartie Marks called the match at 10:58 and determined Michael Anthony the winner and new Rt33W Open Weight Champion… much to the disappointment of The Boss Lady and the Rt33W fans.
