Thomas Edward Barto, 27, of Big Bend, Calhoun County, WV, passed away on June 1, 2026. He was raised in Lake County, Ohio, where he gained a love for the outdoors, fishing, and shenanigans with his friends.
He had a heart that was too big for this world, always acting as a guardian to those in need. In recent years, his heart belonged to his son, who was his greatest achievement and his best little buddy.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Shirley and Hugh Gibbs and his beloved Grammy, Roberta Klacik.
He is survived by his son, Blake Thomas Barto; the mother of his son, Gabriella Clarke; his mother, Pamela Belt; his stepfather, Jerry Belt; his father, Ed Barto; sisters Lisa Estep and Tianna Barto; his grandfather, Tom Klacik and his second family, the Clarkes. He will be dearly missed by his nephew, many aunts and uncles, cousins, other family, and friends.
A memorial in his honor will take place in the near future. Dates and details to be determined.
