SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Glenville State Baseball utility man Zach Laurie has landed on the NCBWA Preseason All-Atlantic Region Team, the association announced today.
Laurie, a graduate student out of Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, batted .314 with 10 home runs and 38 RBI in 2025 for the Pioneers. The All-MEC Second Team selection started 47 games and added 12 doubles, 26 walks and stole seven bases in a career year.
Laurie was one of just three Mountain East Conference sluggers to earn preseason recognition as Concord’s Kaden Swaim and Samuel Lemond were also highlighted.
