August 23, 2022 – It was a great week of golf for Calhoun High School.  Players were definitely challenged by Riverside Country Club, but the experience was awesome.

August 25, 2022 – Wirt County hosted Calhoun and Ritchie at Mingo Bottom on Thursday.  Landon Bennett shot a 39 and was the low medalist after chipping in on two holes.

Myers, previously a Calhoun Deputy but currently serving as a Patrolman for the Spencer Police Department, was selected by Captain Todd Cole to receive the honor of Police Officer Of The Year 2022. The award is given for an officer going above and beyond standard expectations with exceptional performance.
