Grantsville, WV — Minnie Hamilton Health System is pleased to share an update on the progress of its ongoing construction and facility upgrade project, a significant investment aimed at enhancing patient care, expanding services, and improving the overall experience for patients, visitors, and staff.
Construction is currently focused on “drying” in the new two-story addition and beginning the installation of the wall framing, plumbing, and HVAC systems of the first floor. Work will continue to the second floor, and once the new lobby opens later this summer, construction will transition to the one-story Kitchen and Cafeteria addition.
In addition to upgraded facilities, Minnie Hamilton Health System is preparing to introduce additional services that will further expand access to care in the region, with details to be announced in the near future.
“This project represents our commitment to meeting the growing needs of our community while modernizing our facilities to support high-quality, patient-centered care,” said Stephen Whited, CEO.
Projected Construction Milestones
• First Floor Clinic Completion: August 2026
• Second Floor Completion: December 2026
• Kitchen/Cafeteria Completion: April 2027
• Phase 2 Final Completion: August 2027
The upgraded space will allow Minnie Hamilton Health System to better serve patients through improved clinical areas, enhanced support services, and modernized amenities for both patients and staff.
Throughout construction, Minnie Hamilton Health System remains committed to minimizing disruptions and maintaining safe, accessible services for the community. Updates will continue to be shared as milestones are reached. We greatly appreciate the communities support and patience during this project.
