Terry Lee Pyles, 54, of Normantown, West Virginia, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2026, at his home.

He was born in Gassaway, West Virginia, December 23, 1971, a son of I lean Mae Green Pyles and the later Earnest Lee Pyles.

Terry was a graduate of Gilmer County High School and a member of FFA. He worked at Penn Line as a first class tree climber and spent many years working on the oil rigs traveling to different states.

He loved playing softball and basketball in his younger days and most recently fishing with his son Nathan, cousin Burl Fisher, Jr., and special friends Jeremy Montgomery and Matthew and Tiffany Montgomery.

Left to cherish his memory, in addition to his mother, are his wife, Nancy Pyles; son Nathan Leasure; daughters Tara Pyles, Traci Wolfe, Alesha (Steven Brown), Stephanie Wilson, and Chelsey Phillips; grandchildren Kinsley, Khloe, Annmarie, Richard, Kohen, Serenity, Kasen, Klara, Sophia, and Malia; sister Michele (William) Hibbs; and brother Larry (Barbie) Pyles.

A funeral service will be held at Cedar Creek Baptist Church, Friday, July 10, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor William Lytle officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in Cedarville Cemetery.
