
Chief Deputy C.R. Stephens of the Calhoun Sheriff’s Department filed a complaint in the Calhoun Magistrate Court on June 8th, 2026 stating that during the month of May 2026 he had conducted three (3) controlled purchase of methamphetamine from Rose Marie Jarvis at her residence at 1884 Walker Road, Chloe, within Calhoun County, West Virginia. During these transactions a confidential, reliable informant (CI) was used. The CI would contact those known to Jarvis to ascertain whether she had product to sell. Before making each purchase, Deputy Stephens met with the CI at a secure location where a
persons and vehicle search was conducted. After the searches, the CI would be given marked money and outfitted with audio and/or video recording devices.
After then making the purchases, the CI met Deputy Stephens at a predetermined location where the CI provided him with a white crystal substance consistent with being methamphetamine (based uроп his training and experience), each time field testing positive for methamphetamine. A debrief of each transaction as well as a vehicle and persons search were again conducted.
On June 8, 2026, pursuant to a search warrant, Jarvis’ residence was searched and money which had been recorded from one of the transactions was located and identified by serial number. Jarvis was charged with three counts of delivery of a controlled substance, that substance being methamphetamine. These crimes occurred within Calhoun County, West Virginia.
Rose Marie Jarvis was arrested and transported to the WV Central Regional Jail where she awaits a preliminary hearing scheduled for June 16, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Ms. Jarvis’ Bond was set at $50,000.
